[edit] Free Culture Documentary
Free Culture promotes alternative artistic licensing for the digital age. Where do you get your music? Often through "piracy" - downloading music off the internet. The internet creates and mobilizes its own space for activism. In New York City, the local Free Culture chapter of NYU held a street demonstration against DRM (digital rights management) at the Virgin Records store.

Copyright law openly caters to the interests of big media. One of the things that needs done is the language needs changed. Instead of "stealing" and "taking" the music, we're "building a richer depository". We own the internet; the internet is its own society. Another thing that needs done is stepping out of the binary, polarized debate so that creators and consumers can meet in the middle to mutual benefit.
The World of Warcraft game was used to deliver dissonant information to China, as a way of bypassing the Great Firewall.
