This will (hopefully) be an event we have in the Spring 2007 semester.

Possible date: 13 april 2007

Possible venue: common grounds esp if we have a "package show" have spoken and emailed nigel at common grounds have yet to hear back from him. we do have an alternative possible location

so. nigel finally e-mailed me back, and he now has a band booked for that night. our alternative location, 13 SE 12th st, is great except that it is a little further away than any of us would have liked. but lets put on a big show and tell nigel to shove it.


General plan:

  • Get in contact with Glypher of GainesvilleBands.com --> have talked with glypher. willing to support especially if he we can get this project off the ground. will make a news bullitian post about show/project if given more information closer to date of show.
  • Recruit bands that like the concept of CC and project, and willing to play for free
  • Have concert. Rock on.
  • Have CC'ed compilation CD to go along with the concert!
  • Get moe from 100.5 the buzz to help with promotion
  • Promote and advertise: gainesville sun, satillite, alligator, iguana, shipel
  • Poster flyer design (josh huey?)
  • hsave FFc supported literature on merch tables
