- Three law conferences – See if News & Public Affairs will do a podcast?
- Democracy for America
- Grokster talk on Monday, October 24th at noon
- DJ Spooky on “Rebirth of a Nation��? on Friday, November 4th at 7:30pm, $10 at the Phillips Center. Interview of DJ Spooky for Pedro podcast if possible.

- IT Security Awareness Day
- Wednesday, October 12 from 9am to 3pm
- Need staff for tabling and demonstrations
- Ana (10-11:30am), Curtis (9-11am), Gloria (all-day), Greg (1-3pm)
- Need pamphlets written/designed/printed on open source security
- Banner or wooden sign?
- 3’x3’ paper banner of FFC logo (Vishal)
- CopyNight on Tuesday, October 25 from 6:30-8pm
- Discussion on copyright reform in non-threatening environment to socialize, network, educate, and get a consensus among local copyfighters. Hosted in 13 other cities already.
- Need posters for law, political science, computer science and engineering, the Civic Media Center, and Linux
- Targeted paper invitations to IPTLA, IP law professors, and other interest groups
- Set up a facebook party
- MixTrade on November 17th
- Make five mix cds to share with others. Event meant to be a fun way to express ourselves, build community and participation, and take advantage of fair-use. We either use it or lose it.
- Location at Tim and Terry’s behind Chipotles – if space unavailable, Bowls is our back-up
- Need posters wherever the “cool kids��? are
- Invitations to international/ethnic groups, Gators for Eccentric Music
- Contact music reporters at local media outlets
- Campus Sustainability Day
- Tabling on Wednesday, October 26
- Need pamphlets written/designed/printed
- Night of the Living Dead screening at the Civic Media Center on Monday, October 31 (Halloween) at 7 pm - Need DVD from archive.org and undeadart.org (Vishal)
- Pedro FFC podcast due next week
- Anyone want to jump on advertisements for archive.org and the like in Norman Hall labs? We have the contact person.
