Student comments on Firefox

Firefox is just an overall excellent program. Great for Web browsing, it works on everything that any other program would work on, and even better, with the tabbed browsing, with the security that it provides. I really can’t see why anyone else would have any other need for anything else. Firefox all the way, man. My name is James Paine, I’m a freshman, and I’m currently majoring in computer engineering.

Before Firefox, Internet Explorer was my only option. And I was forced to use that crappy program. And now that I have Firefox, I don’t need to have 50 windows open, I have one window open with 50 tabs. So my productivity has increased a lot. Firefox is a lot better, a lot faster, and I like it a lot.

Let me just say thank you to Firefox because your Web browser was introduced to me by my youngest son Drew, up at Kennesaw State University. And it was great then, very user-friendly, and I still use it, I haven’t had a lick of problems. Firefox, you’re number in my opinion, from this Gator here at the University of Florida. My name’s Lew Welge, I’m co-president of the Student Alliance of Graduates in Education, I’m also president of The Nation is Us here at the University of Florida…

Originally, I had Internet Explorer, but I got mad pop-ups, and it wasn’t cool, it would crash my computer. Then a friend suggested Firefox. I immediately fell in love with it, with all the extra features. I love the tabs, it keeps everything nice and organized. After that, I have about 8 e-mail accounts that I run with a company, so I immediately switched to Thunderbird, because I enjoy Firefox so much, Mozilla, such a great company. Ever since then, it’s been running smooth, my company runs especially smooth, it puts everything in one place, organizes it, it’s really great. My name is Robert Sherban, my year is 2009, freshman, and my major is building construction.

It’s about time that somebody came out with an alternative to the garbage that Microsoft has been cramming down our throats for years. You know, something that’s free, and actually has some security to it, and you can actually feel safe using, with all the added features. (You gotta love tabbed browsing.) Steven Thompson, year 2009, mechnical engineering major.
