First meeting of the semester. Monday, Jan 22th at 6:30pm in the Reitz Union Johnson Lounge room 121. Come see what we’re all about, what we’ve done in the past, and what we’re planning for the future. Free food and Free culture!

Free Your PC. Monday, Jan 22th and Tuesday Jan 23rd from 10:00am til 3:00pm. We’ll be at the Reitz Union Colonnade installing Free (as in freedom) software and free (as in site licensed) antivirus on laptops as well as troubleshooting any problems people may be having with their computers. Come by to get free software, to help, or just to hang out!

CopyNight Gainesville. Wednesday, Jan 24th from 7:00pm til 9:00pm at Tim and Terry’s. We are resuming CopyNight Gainesville, a monthly social get-together for anyone interested in discussing copyright and intellectual property law. Free to attend, all ages welcome! Tim and Terry’s is at 1417 NW 1st Ave (the purple house behind Target Copy).

Linux Installfest. Saturday, Jan 27th, 11:00am til 3:00pm in the Reitz Union room B60 (basement). Curious about Linux but unsure where to start? Come to our campus Installfest to get help with installing and configuring a full Linux system. Meet other students who use Linux and get free tech support. Free food, free software!
