Gainesville Sun op-ed on AT&T - BellSouth merger and Net neutrality

Most notable among AT&T’s concessions was an agreement to keep its Internet lines free of gatekeepers and to abide by the principle of Net Neutrality, also known as Internet Freedom.
While the merger itself should raise serious concerns, this agreement sets an important precedent and paves the way for Congress to make Net Neutrality the law in 2007.
