Alternative Freedom (2006) is a documentary film that explores copyright and intellectual property laws in digital media.

Includes interviews with:

  • DJ Danger Mouse, Grey Album mashup maestro
  • Professor Lawrence Lessig, author of Free Culture
  • Andrew “Bunnie” Huang, author of Hacking the Xbox
  • Richard Stallman, Free Software Foundation president
  • Jason Schultz, Electronic Frontier Foundation staff attorney
  • Adam “Doseone” Drucker, underground rapper

The screening is free and open to the public. Free snacks and drinks will be provided; feel free to BYOB. Donations will be accepted to support the Civic Media Center.

The CMC is located at 1021 W. University Ave., just three blocks east of campus.
